Lake: Spring transition brings spawning largemouth to shallow rocky banks and creek arms, with post-spawn fish moving to deeper structure around points and channel ledges. Topwater and crankbait fishing can be excellent as temperatures warm into the 60s and 70s.
Topwater Popper: First light on spawning flats — fish hold shallow and crush surface baits. Slow cadence with long pauses.
